Which room is it for?

The Cinema Vault answers rooms where the screen must be entirely invisible outside sessions. The case disappears into the false ceiling; only the surface comes down, then goes back up. It is the solution for high-end living rooms and dedicated rooms whose architecture tolerates no visible element. Its grey glass-fiber surface (0.8 gain) strengthens contrast and reduces stray reflections.

Installation checklist

  • To anticipate during building works: the false-ceiling opening must be planned before the boards go up.
  • Provide a hatch or maintenance access to the motor once the ceiling is closed.
  • RS485/232 interface and dry contact: integration into a home-automation or AV control system is possible.
  • A-OK tubular motor with thermal protection, 5-year warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Can it be installed in an existing ceiling?

Yes, provided there is enough ceiling void and the opening can be created. It is a heavier job than surface mounting — to assess with your installer.

What is the difference with the Cinema Vault S++?

The S++ adds the tab-tension mechanism and a long-throw ALR surface. It becomes necessary if the room keeps residual light or if the diagonal is large.
