A motorized screen answers a single question: should the screen stay visible between sessions? In a living room, a meeting room or a multipurpose space, the answer is almost always no. The surface comes down for viewing, goes back into its case afterwards, and the room returns to its everyday use.
The trade-off is mechanical: a case to integrate, a power supply nearby and a motor that must last. That is exactly where models differ — not only in the surface, but in how the case disappears and how the surface holds up over time.
