Composing your row

A dedicated-room seat is not chosen like a sofa. You have to think in rows: the number of seats depends on the available width, and each seat takes between 58 and 77 cm depending on the model, plus the central cup-holder consoles.

The second parameter is clearance: a reclining seat needs 10 to 12 cm between the backrest and the wall to deploy, and its footprint reaches 163 to 170 cm once reclined. Those two figures — width and clearance — determine the configuration long before the choice of upholstery.

Points to check before ordering

  • Usable room width, to determine the number of seats per row.
  • Available wall clearance behind the row: 10 cm minimum, 12 cm on the Norlou.
  • Number of motors required: recline only, or powered headrest and lumbar support.
  • Upholstery: leather in six colours, or one of the four fabric families.
  • Accessories to integrate into the armrests — available on all models except the Modena.
